How To: Arrange Categories on the Storefront Homepage¶

You can arrange categories right on the storefront homepage. Using the Categories block you can create and add to the storefront the list of desired categories.

1. In the Admin panel, go to Website → Themes → Layouts and select the Homepage tab.

2. Click the + button in the required container and click Add block:

   

3. Open the Create New Block tab and in the opened window select Categories:

   

4. In the opened window, specify the name of the new block (e.g. Catalog), select Multi-column list for the Template and click the Create button.

5. Click the gear icon on the created block:

   

6. In the General tab select:

   • Multi-column list in the Template field (if you have not selected it in the previous step);
   • Footer general in the Wrapper field.

7. Click the Settings link next to the Template field and enter the desired number of columns in the Number of columns in the objects list field.

8. Specify the desired CSS-class in the User-defined CSS-class input field if necessary.

   

9. Open the Content tab and select Manually in the Filling select box. Click + Add categories to choose categories and select them via checkboxes, then click Save.

   

10. Click the Save button.
