How To: Export Product Features¶

Product Features Export¶

1. In the administration panel, go to Settings → Export data → Features.

2. Make sure that all the fields you want to export are in the Exported fields box; move other fields to the Available fields box.

   

3. Adjust the following settings if needed:

   • Category delimiter—the path separator for the main product category (e.g. “Computers///Desktops”).

   • CSV delimiter—the symbol that will separate columns in the exported CSV file.

   • Output—the result of the export:

     • Direct download—you’ll be offered to download the CSV file.
     • Screen—the CSV file will be opened in your browser.
     • Server—the CSV file will be saved on the server where your CS-Cart/Multi-Vendor is installed.

   • Filename—the name that the exported CSV file will get.

4. Click the Export button.

How to: Export Features’ Variants¶

Variants of the features can be exported the same way from the Variants tab of the page.

Exporting feature variants proves to be useful when you need to update existing variants or translate them into other languages. Once features’ variants are edited in the exported file, they can be imported to your store on the Variants tab of the Settings → Import data → Features page.
