Right pricing strategy is often the key to success of your online store. With the Better Price add-on, you will be able to sell products in your store at flexible prices.

Your users will be able to notify you of a better price they found in another store by submitting a quick form:

Once you get the notification, you can reach the customer by the specified email and offer a lower price or give a discount for the product.

Compatibility

The add-on is compatible with CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor 4.9 and above, but only versions 4.12.x and above are supported. Minimum required PHP version is 5.6.

Managing in the admin panel

Installing the add-on

Install the “Found a Better Price?” add-on on the add-ons list page (“Add-ons” → ”Manage add-ons”). Click the + button in the top right corner, select an archive and click Upload & install. You can now find the installed add-on in the list of installed add-ons, just make sure it is set to Active.

Available settings

The setup of the add-on is quick and easy.

It requires to specify the admin’s email address where a notification that the user Better Price will be sent. Multiple comma-separated email addresses can be specified.

You can also pick any color for the Better Price link.

Enabling Google reCAPTCHA

To protect your website from spam and bots, it’s recommended to enable Google reCAPTCHA for the Better Price form.

To do this, navigate to the settings of the default Google reCAPTCHA add-on and select the Better Price checkbox.
