CS-Cart 4.5.2 Changelog

New Features and Improvements

[+] Add-ons: Searchanise: The add-on was made compatible with the “Vendor data premoderation” add-on.

[+] Add-ons: Searchanise: The add-on now has its own icon that will appear next to it on the add-on list.

[+] Hooks: New TPL hooks were added to templates/views/orders/order_downloads.tpl and design/backend/templates/views/products/update.tpl.

[+] Hooks: New PHP hooks were added to the fn_get_user_edp() and fn_generate_ekeys_for_edp() functions.

[+] Languages: Translations: Greek translations were added for some of the blocks, states, promotions, menu items, product tabs, shipment and order statuses, and taxes.

Functionality Changes

[*] Add-ons: Email marketing, Newsletters: CSRF protection is now enabled for the “em_subscribers.update” and “newsletters.add_subscriber” controllers to protect the newsletter subscription form.

[!] Add-ons: Social Login: HybridAuth: Sign-ins via Facebook didn’t work because an old version of Facebook API was used. Fixed.

[!] Add-ons: PayPal payments: Multi-Vendor: Credit card data wasn’t removed from orders when PayPal Pro was used, and products were purchased from multiple vendors. Fixed.

[!] Add-ons: PayPal payments: PayPal Pro: IPNs for some payments were not processed. Fixed.

[!] Add-ons: SEO: PHP 7.1: The “Bestsellers & On-Sale Products” and “Comments and reviews” add-ons didn’t extend the “canonical_urls” schema of the SEO add-on properly; that led to a fatal error on PHP 7.1. Fixed.

[!] Add-ons: SEO: Vendor URLs and brand URLs were not replaced with SEO names. Fixed.

[!] Core: Add-ons: A service pack was considered older than the version it was meant for. For example, third-party add-ons marked as compatible with CS-Cart 4.5.1 and newer versions, couldn’t be run on CS-Cart 4.5.1.SP1. Fixed.

[!] Core: Add-ons: When an add-on was uninstalled, SQL queries for deleting language variables could be executed multiple times. Fixed.

[!] Core: Database: Placeholder ”?e” didn’t work properly with an array, when one of the keys of the array was 0. Fixed.

[!] Core: PHP 7.1: Database: Passing strings to the “?i” DB placeholder could cause warnings and errors on PHP 7.1. Fixed.

[!] Design: Parent themes: On-site template editing: When editing a template that was missing in a child theme, the changes were stored in the parent theme. Fixed.

[!] Design: Products: Big picture: The brand image didn’t contain a link to the brand page in the Big picture template. Fixed.

[!] Design: Products: Product page: The “maximum-scale=1.0” parameter in the “viewport” meta tag was excessive. The parameter was removed, because other parameters already specified the right scale.

[!] Design: Themes: Theme logos were not installed during theme installation. Fixed.

[!] Design: Upgrade center: Extra <br> tags were added between paragraphs and list elements in the upgrade description. Fixed.

[!] Document editor: Product options: The information about product options of the “File” type didn’t appear in documents. Fixed.

[!] Export/Import: Orders: The “Shipping: phone” and “Billing: phone” fields weren’t on the list of fields available for export. Fixed.

[!] JS: Checkout: Credit card validator didn’t display the MasterCard logo for the new 2-series BIN card numbers. Fixed; the jquery.creditCardValidator library was updated.

[!] JS: WYSIWYG editors: Shipping methods: When the TinyMCE editor was enabled, it was impossible to test the rate calculation of a real-time shipping service. Fixed.

[!] Products: Search: An SQL error occurred when a product search query didn’t include the “pname” parameter. Fixed.

[!] Product options: Variant images: When a customer opened a product page with an option combination already selected via a direct link (for example, via search), the images of option variants didn’t appear on the page until the customer selected another option combination. Fixed.

[!] Sessions: The “www” subdomain was always removed from the domain in the session cookie; that could lead to authorization problems when secure connection was enabled. Fixed.

[!] Sessions: Redis: Cart content wasn’t stored long enough for guest customers. Fixed.

[!] {#6583} Design: Layouts: When an administrator was editing the settings of the same layout page from different layouts in separate browser tabs at the same time, a layout page could be saved to a wrong layout. Fixed.
