If Incorrect Shipping Cost is Returned

If you get an incorrect shipping cost, check if additional shipping charges for products and shipping methods are set.

Check Additional Shipping Charges for Products

  1. In the Administration panel, go to Products → Products.

  2. Find the product for which the shipping cost is displayed incorrectly, and click on its name.

  3. The product editing page will open. Switch to the Shipping Properties tab and check the Shipping freight field. If you don’t want to add additional cost to the shipping cost for this product, leave this field empty or enter 0.

  4. Click the Save button.

Check Additional Charges for Shipping Methods

  1. Go to Settings → Shipping methods.

  2. Click on the name of a real time shipping method to open the shipping method editing page.

  3. Switch to the Shipping time and rates tab, and check whether or not the rates are set up in the Price condition, Weight condition, and Items condition sections. These rates are added to the shipping cost received from the real time shipping service (for instance UPS, USPS, etc.) If you don’t want to add these rates to the shipping cost, remove them.

  4. Click the Save button.
